Need some advice, really not sure what to do!
2005 Noir-
Cruise Control: Disconnect the battery for 30 min and reconnect. Go for a drive and see if the Cruise works. This will eliminate any hardware failures (Wiring, clockspring, buttons, etc.) The ECU will override the CC if you "Ride" the clutch, which many new people to stick shifts do. If the CC works, then stop riding the clutch, and practice a good habit by keeping your left foot on the floor when not needed... If disconnecting the battery doesn't fix it you most likely have a bad clockspring, which will be confirmed once you hook up the raido controls properly. Otherwise the control switches on the wheel are bad, they can be bought from rockauto.com
Running bad: Check to see if your intercooler pump has died. If ambient temps are high where you are right now, the car could have unstable IAT's which would cause running issues, especially after "Sprited" driving. Otherwise a simple plug swap to replace spark plugs can fix this as well... My car when i bought it used was stock with two step cooler plugs in it... Replacing them fixed an uneasy idle and poor MPGs
Shift Boot: All of our stock boots do this. Buy a new one, or don't, It will run fine with a cracked boot.

If it helps i bought my car used too. An 09 ss/tc, that i have no doubt was most likely run hard. It's been good since i've had it. I bought it in November. I love it and am just enjoying it everyday. I haven't thought much about anything that could be a problem. Like everyone has said. Small stuff. I can see where the irritation comes in. Just something that goes with buying a used sports car. I have no real complaints so far.
bought my ss/sc 06 a couple months ago, has a dent on the hood, and on the trunk, but the engine is in good shape, was stock, i made a few fun changes, and now im destroying gt's, and m3's! Enjoy ur car, its got alot of potential
also check 3rd break light for poorly installed LED's. for whatever reason this somehow is linked to cruise control? ive seen alot of posts on it and to be honest i've had some times where it just doesn't work but i really haven't done anything to fix or change it since i put the 3rd break led in.
