need some help please!!!

i am having some problems with my balt and need some help! its an ss/sc and every time i touch the gas the rpm's jump like to 3500 then come back down and then are fine till i shift to the next gear then it does the same thing???? can anyone help with this??? also my blower screams when i floor for like a sec. then it stops for a sec. then goes again like normal?? i think its belt slippage for that but i dunno about the rpm's !!!!!some one help me!!!!

when the rpm's jump up, does the car move anywhere???? also, how many miles are on your car?

its go almost 14000 miles and no the car doesn't really move anywhere its really sluggish

try this....get in the car, turn it on and put it in gear.....put on the e-brake and hold the brakes down...slowly let the clutch out and see if the car jumps

ok wait one sec while i go out and try it!!

ok i tried it and the car felt like it was trying to move forward and the engine was slowly getting a little louder and then i pushed the clutch back down and then car moved back and forth a little bit..but i never totally took my foot of the clutch

kinda sounds like a slipping clutch... any burning smell?

sorry to say man but your clutch is most probably toast... and with multiple runs like that it's probably glazed over real bad...

unfortunatly I am... if you take it easy on the car for a while you do have a chance of it coming back.. but I don't know how bad it really is. a friends car was doing that and the clutch disc actually ended up exploding
