ok guys...so they say the lsj's 2.0 liter ecotech is rated at 205 hp....seeing as how its underated ive heard the claims as to the difference in whp to crank power being off as much as 8% to 12%....not to mention the dynos people get are like over what 210 or so?....whp?....crank power?....

210 whp /.85 = 247 hp to the crank (Assuming a 15% drivetrain loss)
Rear wheel drive cars have an even higher loss.
Basically, alot of guys are making the power at the flywheel stock that GM says they will make to the flywheel when they go stage 2.
Keep in mind though that all dynos are different. A Mustang dyno will show much lower numbers than a Dynojet for example. Still, its safe to say that the Cobalt is underrated. Stock for stock, guys also show quite a range which has to do not only with the subtle differences between each car, but temperature, humidity, and other variables at the time of the dyno.
I'm assuming you want to know what 210 whp would equal at the crank?
