Unhappy Neone have this problm...

I have a 2006 ss/sc & my windows (mainly passenger side) are getting scratched to **** (my tint) on the inside of the windows. the cars passenger side was already tinted hen i bought it & was scratched. so i got my driver side tinted & it was fine fo a few months & now its really starting to come thru & u can ALMOST see it from the outside. i dont think nething is down in the door panels we took hem off to paint the car & nothing as down in there so I dont know what to do to solve this problem. i dont have the money to keep getting the tint redone lol. do u think its the window itself that is scratched (under the tint) or do u think its the tint gettint scratched. its like straight up & down lines from whe i roll them up & down.

HELP ME PLEASE!!

this is a fairly common problem with most Gm products all the other Gm vehicles i have owned have all had the same problem. I don't know if it just crappy glass that they use or if it's something in else but it sucks.. my 09 SS/TC windows started to scratch like a month after i got it..

happened to me. some very small specks of tint "ripped" off on both windows. and the actual glass scratched a little too.. dealer replaced the windows and paid to have em re-tinted.. but it happened again in the exact same spots so im thinking its the mechanism that moves the window... mine is hardly noticeable at all so Im not too mad about it

i have the same problem with my windows. i took the panels off to see what the problem was and found that the window tracks have sharp edges on some spots and hit the windows. one dealership told me i would have to pay 200+ to get it shaved down. they said that it wouldnt happen if window tint wasnt on the windows.

Mine are scratched on the outside. The tint on the inside is fine. But it actually dug into the glass. Must have been dirty during the winter... pretty nuts tho...
