New 06 ss/sc
Just got a new 06 ss/sc and was just wondering if theres anything i need to know about breaking the car, what to be cautious of, and a few helpful tips. Thanks and merry christmas to all

Floor it non-stop, full boost it, power shift, e-brake slides, reverse 180's, race it, redline it, enjoy it.
J/K Ditto to what he said, take it easy for the first 5400-500 miles, then gradually start driving it a little harder. After about 1,000 you should be alright.

Someone should really tell the dealerships this. I saw a yellow one the other day and everyone of the dealers were bragging about going 140+ in it.

ya i went down to my uncles dealership ( hes the head mechanic ) and i was looking at a black SS and a sales guy walked up and was like ya they are extremely fast " i know now why the call it the brother of the vette" so i think im going to get mine ordered special so that im the only one who will get the speedo above 20

You should be able to run it hard without it hurting anything. I keep hearing that engines these days shouldnt have to be broken in really. If i had a new sc I would stay a couple grand away from red line and definitly run premium, that what I'm gunna do with my 2.4 ss.
Dont forget the first oil change, my dad forgot his for 40,000 miles when he got his used cavalier, which is now mine. Thank god it still works...
