the horn mod is putting a dual note GMC Envoy horn in place of the stock ***** ****

and right now after buying this car and paying the insurance difference and all that other crap im not spending any $$...so airbox mod it is....for now...u know i love my CAI's but its gotta wait lol

 

it doesnt have to be stock....after the plate comes aftermarkets....or not personaly ive been beet by an SXT Neon from a 20 roll and before you say i dont know how to drive that was the quietest sp? twin turbo ive ever seen....

 

Mike, IMHO... any plate with SRT in it will get U some mean looks from SRT ppl and you'll be looking at getting alot of ppl trying to race figuring that the SRT in the plate is for the SRT-4

Im not gonna do any h8er, killa, beata, fast plates cuz thats just asking for trouble both from ricers trying to race and cops picking on me...both of which are all too abundant around here

one of the reasons im getting this car is so im not as tempted to go so crazy with performance mods on it...i wanna focus more on handling and appearance as well as maybe a couple of small bolt on performance enhancements...im really not looking to beat any specific cars out there...cept maybe GTI's...just cuz i hate VW douchebags

 

Lol dude.... The aftermarket is at LEAST double for the 2.0 the the 2.4.... I fu got this car not to do as much on perfromance then the 2.4, your only kidding yourself. I'll give U 3 months B 4 your looking to go GM stg 2 and Pulley down. And Suspension.. theres not even that much stuff to do on out cars... you'll have that taken care of fast.

oy..well right now i just figured out that they pulled a switcharoo and put me into a 72 month finance instead of a 60...so now im trying to get em back to 60 with the same payment...

ok well i was given the royal fuckover screw around treatment and im pissed to hell....

problems:
-they said they were gonna give me 11681 for my car and then somehow it miraculously ended up being 11000 even
-i specifically asked for a 60 month finance....somehow it ended up being 72 months
-when i couldnt find the title for my G5 a week ago i called the salesperson and asked him if i had to have the title in hand or if i could just order a new one and send it in when i got it (we deal with this all the time at work) he said "sure no problem, you can do that, just make sure you have the confirmation number of the order for us"....drove 4 hours up there only to find that that wasnt the case and that i would not be able to take the car home today...if he had been honest in the first place i coulda had the title ordered and delivered to me beforehand
-last but not least they wont be able to register until i pick it up and they file the paperwork with NY DMV...which means it'll take about a week to get the registration and temp inspection back...but mass doesnt do temporary plates....so id be driving an unregistered car for god knows how long while they do DMV ****...

i signed most of the paperwork and they have a $100 deposit from me....but they dont have a title...which means they cant file anything or do anything until they do..so the whole way home i was thinking about this and what i wanted to do and im pretty much at the point where im not comfortable with the whole situation and i just wanna back out of the deal...


we'll see how this goes now....guaranteed im not getting my $100 back despite the fact that they said it was totally refundable

 

goto a local dealer and tell them you found the car tyou want and you want them to do a locate and transport. see what they say

 

nah wont work cuz its an 07 leftover and a dealer wont swap one in cuz its basically a guaranteed loser

plus the one i was working with screwed up and over valued my car at 11,681 when its worth in reality about 7 or 8k...thats not gonna happen at another dealership
