Niether is better than the other...it all depends on what you want man.

1/4 mile and 'the' sound...get the Camaro

30 MPG and a tight little car: SS/SC

Personally I say one of each

lol forum police.....

Anyway, expect a V6 Camaro to be no less than 20K and a decently equipped V8 to be around 27K.

Theres actually talk of the V6 Camaro doing 0-60 in 6 flat.

i know dealers dont really know anything, but when i was askin about one he said prob around 30-40ish depending on which model.

the V6 will def be more than a mustang. im gonna say probably around 26 for the low end v6.

if they put out the V6 for under 20 like the mustang then ill DEFINTLY sell my cobalt for one.

Hope y'all are talking prices for, oh, around 2010. That camaro isn't gonna stay on any lots, and the damn things are going to sell minimum 10% over sticker for at least the first year like the new mustangs did, especially the ss/z28.

Yea, dealership markup is gonna rape, but GM wont make the same mistake that they made with the 4th gens. They have to keep the V6 and V8 models priced competively with the Mustang.

I imagine the mid level V8 is going to really shake up the muscle car world as far as bang for the buck goes.

I'd be willing to bet that 06 Z06 owners will be trying to ditch their vettes to get a new Camaro SS. In '09, you could probably scoop one of the 06's with under 30k miles for a hare over 30k cuz of all the Camaro hype.

He wouldn't have to say if it wasn't for you being ignorant and going against the rules...its common sense....he has every right...he did it tactfully and you go off on him.

he didnt go against the rules...hes not the OP
and i kinda agree with him....shouldnt really matter, tho technically its in the wrong forum
i would have totally understood if the post was more like "they may cost around $27k for blah blah blah, and for the record, you'll want to post things like this in the lounge" instead of just straight up saying "you did it wrong...the end"

Bob Lutz himself said that they are going to try and have the pricing competitive with the Mustang. There is also talk that the motors in the Camaro will be all new. The 6 may be pushing about 300hp and the top of the line 8 will go back to the Camaros roots to being a Z28 not an SS. GM is also working on phasing out the 4spd autos and replacing them with 6spd autos which may also be offered in the new Camaro..
