All of you guys are making good points lol! man this is tough. and yeah it is very hard to teach kids with a mental barrier so I better have fun with my cars. I will hit up performance autowerks and ask about the swap.

 

Lotus is out. parts cost to much and it's the car with the least potential and is the most expensive plus it's still a 4 banger I want 8 or 10 cylinders. So it's viper vs lsx sky. The dream project or the dream car??????

 

Dream car, in my opinion. Projects from what I've seen always end up costing more than you had anticipated and they just become money pits after a while. Get the Viper, showboat it around. You've earned it if you have that kind of money.

 

viper. intake and full exhaust then tune. or TT it on stock motor and make an EASY 700whp.

 

If I get the Viper I want to stroke it to a 522 and get a paxton supercharger that will still be around 700whp and I got to get a hardtop for it convertibles are hideous. But a lsx with a kennebell will be bad ass in a sky redline. Both cars will weigh about the same. the viper is 3400 pounds the sky 3000 but after the V8 goes in it will probably be around 3200-3400. I got time to decide. The viper would be great but with the economy how it is a sky would be the safe bet.

 

older vipers are going for rediculous prices and are some of the sexiest cars ever made

 

I don't want to old of a car. The older vipers have no abs. I am torn between my decision. The viper has numbers to back it up. I know what times it will get stock and modded. The sky with a v8 is unknown territory. I have seen dyno numbers and stuff but there is no one with times out there.

 

I decided to get a First or Second gen Viper. I always wanted a viper and the looks the car get is insane. Plus the first gen and second gen are only 3200 pounds and about 25-30k. I wont have to deal with no engine swap so I will be able to mod right away. My goal will be 700whp with a Supercharger either Paxton or Roe Racing. I cant wait to get the viper. about 2 months away from having the down payment I want on the car. Pics and vid's to come.

 

u know with the maintenance on the viper u could probably buy another cobalt, just sayin, because some people buy a nice car but the maitenance kills them, but if u can afford it then go for it

 

i think u should take ur money n buy a jetski. roads are over-rated
