New Car 3 Year Warranty
So as the topic suggests, the new car 3 year warranty comes with the car.
I'm able to afford to mod out the car, but then again, I feel it is smarter to stay within measurable distance without voiding the warranty or creating any sort of hassle.
So to my point, is it safe to lower the car? Or will that void the warranty, actually... does no one care about the warranty? I noticed a lot of people are wanting to go engine-power crazy with turbine kits...
Anyways, I recently purchased the blue cobalt coupe... very standard. I tinted it, and am planning on place some 18"s on it.
How far do you think I can go without losing my warranty, which I'm sure will come in handy since this car is a new model....?

First of all - Your salesperson should have told you who to ask - The Manufacturer!
Call 1-800-CHEV-USA, that's Roadside Assistance & Technical Information line. They will tell you what will void the warranty.
Make sure if you add 18"s you get all the other things calibrated, and you can probably get it done at the Chevy dealer you bought it from.
Your car has a 3/36 Bumper to Bumper and remember, the Cobalts also get a 5 year 60,000 Powertrain Warranty now! Engine and Tranny!

My mech. always said I only void what I touch... If you put an intake on dont complain about the intake... Exuast... ect. Of course if you change your suspension you can get it fixed under warrany but changing your shocks muffler intake doesnt mean anything if your motor dies or you lights dont work
