New Cobalt ad's

Check out the July issue of Motor Trend. GM has about a 10 page ad with the Cobalt in a 3 page pullout and a 2 page spread( both Rally Yellow SS/sc). It looks to be keeper.

Yes it's a new technique...and it's brilliant. It had me fooled too...GM trying to build ads as if they're part of the magazine.

It's not a keeper...in 08' the S/C version is GONE

It's not bad news for current owners...it's good. Makes our car more valuable which increases resale

15 years? So that'll be...

15 years (15,000 miles) = 225,000 miles.

I think our Cobalts will blow up at 115,000 miles

No. what i meant was the sport compact market. There won't be anything Chevy anymore. Except the Cobalt Sport whatever with the 2.4...

Good news to me, cause in about 5 months my cobalt will no longer be able to have any more than two people in it (including myself). So when I have a kid I will probably sell it.

Hey don't say that... I'm driving 45,000 miles a year. According to your math I'll have two more years to pay it off once it's dead...

My dad does that or more on his Monte in my sig. There's certainly people who travel non-stop for their jobs. But a cobalt s/c is probably the most interesting I've come by. Most highway drivers like that rely on a Caddy or something. haha

That's a advertising technique everywhere now. You see it in video games where the ad will "rate" the game it's trying to sell and even in the newspaper that I work for, the businesses around here will take articles that we write and use them like ads for weeks.

I drive 83 miles to work and 83 miles back every day... So if I didn't drive anywhere else but back and forth to work, 48 weeks X 5 days X 166 miles = 39,840 miles / year just to commute...
