Just bought my cobalt last week....been on the forum for a month just looking around and reading so i decided to make a post. I really enjoy driving the cobalt...(although our streets suck here in winnipeg)...Im looking foward to modding it...any opinions would be helpful (mod lights/body kit/ tint/ yadda yadda)....Love this forum and it is very helpful..keep it up...

Hey welcome to the site,there are a few members here fromWinterpeg You could start with an Ingen intake, from TTR and a catback maybe,as for body kits just check the apperance or vendoe section, but with the pot holes I have seen in the Peg,might not be a great idea,nevertheless enjoy your time here and we will talk later-out

it depends on if u wanna go show or go i had a 2.2 so i wasnt really worried about the engine right off the bat(ill get there eventually) so i went with a body kit n rims to stand out a little....i definately say intake or catback exhaust maybe its all up to im all about appearance myself...welcome to the site

 

Thanks for your post guys....and of course i got stick...(even tho i stalled like 4 times before i got off the lot lmao)....i was thinking more along the lines of appearence/interior/exterior...i really dont see the point of modding for speed cause i dont race...(not that you have to but you know...)ive also noticed that theyre arent a lot of pics of silver cobalt...just curious why lol...

Congrats. As for mods I would paint the bowties and then do the airbox mod. Do you 2.2 guys have the ability to do that or do you need a full intake. Ok either intake or airbox mod. Even if you don't want more power it will dress up under the engine and give you good sound. Also get creative with your visual mods. Remember there is more to life then body kits and neon. Use your imagination.
