Debating on lowering LS

I'm going to be picking up a complete set of FE5 struts in the next month. I was wondering what is the most cost effective lowering spring offered for the cobalts...
Work a Eibach Pro-Kit be reasonable or is there something out there comparable. I'm not looking to slam the car, seeing as though I drive it in the winter.

And what Sway bar endlinks will I need to run? Anything else I need to do when lowering these cars?

I've played with suspension and lowering on numerous J-bodies but not deltas.

pro-kit would not be worth it. barely lowers you at all. check out progress springs, they are what im on and its not slammed, but it still looks low

heres pics

and thats with 225-40-18 tires, which are larger than stock if your on steelies

I'm not looking to go very low, just better performance and close the wheel gap up on the steelies. While keep costs low too.
Are you on FE5 struts? What did those springs run you?

i think i paid somewhere around 170 for the springs, and i am on fe5's. heres a pic with the stock steelies, my 18's just make it look lower. they handle good too, and have a comfortable ride

Where would you purchase the progress springs from? I'm new to the delta body platform...

but they are discontinued, which could explain the price increase

Ok, that's one option as of now. I'd like to see what else is offered for this platform. This is my daily driver, it's under extended warranty, but I'm sick of the sloppy suspension on the car.

Did you change out the endlinks to run a lower spring? Any bumpsteer issues, or anything else needing attention?

FE1 endlinks hold up to the lowering?

oh yeah, as far as i know the only parts that the springs accelerate wear on are the shocks and struts

Good to know my options. I might run the FE5 springs for a while with a rear sway bar to see how I like it, trying to save up for an engagement ring is making things tougher.

Bump, looking for more options if possible!
Seeing as the progress springs are discontinued, what else would be a reasonable spring to go with, cheaper the better!
