I got to look at the owners manual for my car yesterday and it said the break in period is 500 miles, not to take it over 5000 rpm(somethin like that???), and to not stay at a constant speed. Not sure if there's more but that's all I can remember.
No break in on the motor, just the clutch. Don't slip the clutch too much and don't launch it. Gunning it from a roll while the clutch is already engaged is fine. Change the oil at 400-500 miles.

Congrats on your car. Just treat it like you would treat any other lady. Respectful and slow to start, ease into some teasing fun and finally give her full throttle with some TLC afterwards
I guess i was the only one who didnt real the manual, because I forgot to break it in, oh well, figure the warranties has my back. Peel out of the lot and push it all the way home.. 25 miles from the dealer. Even accidently redline it.. Car seem to running normal.. SO i hope i didnt really mess it up. 1000 mile in a week. got excited..

They come broken in. The only thing you can hurt is your clutch. Running a new motor up quickly through the rpms is important anyway. If you don't your rings won't seal as up to par and you will lose power.
