New Corsa/GMPP Touring Exhausts
New Corsa/GMPP Touring Exhausts
What happened to these?! All I see are the performance variants which are too noisy.
Any suggestions? Also can anyone recommend a catback that sounds as close to stock as possible?
Thanks

Although someone will disagree with me, all corsa exhausts and gmpp exhausts are discontinued and have been for about 2 years. Whatever is left for sale is the last of what they made.
I bought one of the last few corsa touring exhaust available back in 2011 and had issues with its sound. Turned out being something wrong with the resonator and they replaced it under warranty. But through correspondence with the guy over there with my warranty claim, corsa has no more plans to do exhausts on anything other than performance v8s for the time being.
My suggestion would be to keep a stock exhaust and upgrade your header and dp

The reason I need to replace my catback is due to rust. My factory muffler has a huge hole in the top of it and sounds terrible at WOT. Cruising is OK, actually kind of deep but the highway drone is crappy. GM wants $500 for a replacement muffler that has to be hacked into the existing catback. I replaced my midpipe with a stock GM replacement part and even that had fitment issues due to the welding. I'd rather have a nice bolt-on catback that fits good and sounds decent versus hacking up the crap thats on there now.
Don't take exhaust work to the dealer. Go to a shop and get a quality muffler welded on like stainless works or something. The stock exhaust is just steel and it isn't abnormal that it is rusted
zzp 2.5" resonated catback sounds great. no drone, no rasp. Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD5vmMmE4iM Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnPALEITAE4&list=UUnAWel-zozQXRBpdHLRGYnQ Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tMpuQZSevQ&list=UUnAWel-zozQXRBpdHLRGYnQ&index=5

I've had my Corsa Touring on my car for 4 years now. Sounds and looks just as good as the day I installed it.
As others have mentioned, Corsa, along with GMPP no longer produce their catbacks.
It's a shame, becuase they were the best sounding setups around. ZZP's seems to be pretty decent now though.
