new engine and goods

so i bought my 06 Cobalt SS with the GM Stage 3, with about 55,xxx miles 2 months ago...long story short one friday night the spark plug in cylinder #4 melted and f**cked the valves up...

turns out my roomate's GF had a friend who rolled her 06 SS with 30k miles over the winter and i was able to get the engine for $700 and they even pulled it

so i got my engine out today and am going to start by build

Engine Bay Plans:

ZZP long tube header (to lower the EGT's)
SLP loudmouth 2 cat back exhaust (custom for dual exhaust)
ZZP CAI 3"
Snow performance stage 3 meth kit with trunk mount reservoir (to lower EGT's)
step 2 colder plugs
ZZP front mount intercooler and option B for the dual pass
eithor TB spacer or intake spacer for the water/meth injection (which is better)
OTTP stage 2 rotated engine mount
Ingalls Stiffy Engine Torque Dampener
KY stage 3 clutch
TWM short throw shifter

Exterior mods:

Shorty Antenna
stock rims powder coated black
CF hood
high rise carbon fiber wing inserts
rear lip for dual exhaust

Interior mods:

Innovatek 633 car PC
California profile 1000W 4 channel amp (for speakers)
Memphis 1100W 2 channel amp (for subs)
Custom Dash with gauge pods
Custom LED lighting

So as things come along i will keep posting, here are some pics of the dash and pulling the engine..(warning the engine pull was done a bit different)

well the cheapest body shop that i would have trusted to do a good job quoted me a minimum of $850 and another was $1k so this was my only other option, we took our time and actually went very well

The only way it could be more redneck is if the car was hanging from an oak tree and three guys sitting around the base drinking budwieser..

I bought a smashed up integra once that was about two inches short on one side. Parked one tractor behind it and ran a chain too it, chained another tractor to the front and pulled. Gotta love growing up on a farm

did you think about eliminating the center dash vents for gauges instead of that thing?

and nice way to drop the motor, works great!
