Most people just spray plasti dip on there. If you get sick of it, just peel it off.

its pretty easy ive done both plastic dip on a friends car but i did sand and paint/clearcoat mines. both seem the same exept mines is permanent and has a nice gloss look to it. plastic dip looks a bit more plain and just comes out flat black. but it really is just a matter of choice.

Sounds like plastidip is a good option for me then. I wont kid myself, painting isn't really my thing. Rally stripes will look really good with the yellow too

Real quick update. I am having a real tough time finding this car! Has to be a coupe, not yellow, has to be an 08 or newer. I am even considering getting a GLI instead just because they are SO much easier to find. I am in Vermont so any car in the NEW England area would suffice, there is one in connecticut i drove but someone seriously screwed around with it. Opinions? I know the GLI is much slower.

The GTI i am looking at is red. But it is slow. My goal would be 250 WHP and 280ish WTQ which is about 15 more hp than stock lnf and 25 more lb/ft. We will see though. I just dont know anymore. Advice?

A car isn't something to be impulsive with. Wait to get what you really want. The only VW I would probably get is a R32. So I personally wouldnt get a GTI.

Yellow is something you can be tired of... or maybe you will make it looking nicer with some black on it like the wheels and some SS stripes on the front fenders But this is only my opinion... If you think you'll be better with something else wait man!
