Okay, first off I will start by saying hello.
I just got stationed in SC. I am in the Marine Corps, and I need a good car. Some say that I should spend no more than 10k, but I want a nice Cobalt SS. Any ideas on what I should be looking for? Also, anyone else here in the Marine Corps?

I was in 1996-2000, three of those years as G-6 Shop Chief on MCBBUTLER. Gotta love The Rock!

As to which SS to get, you need to ask yourself - do you want to save some cash and have a nice project car (ss/sc), or do you want to "skip ahead", spend a little more money, and have less modding to do (ss/tc)?

Don't forget, you will likely get deployed for at least a year. Plan accordingly.

My MOS rarely deploys. I have put in my request package for a MEU as well as MSG packet. I would like to have something around 10-15k, since I don't want to go broke buying a car in general. Also, even if I do go overseas, I will leave my car at home where my father will take good care of it. So, that isn't that big of a problem
