New to the SS world

Just got my Cobalt ss/tc about a month ago wanna start upgrades soon, so the question is what should i do first and does the computer have to be tuned for everything to gain power for each thing even as simple as a CAI

Welcome! You do not need to tune right away with your car, wait until you have a few bolt one before you tune. You will gain hp right away from your bolt ons, but the tune maximizes the hp and performance

You could tune it right now with no bolt ons and gain 30hp. Or get a DP and intake and tune, and be around 300hp already

Do a downpipe, intake or airbox mod, and a tune.

but why pay for the tune twice? get a few mods then do it
