I'v recently been thinking about gettin a whole new stereo put in the balt. I did some digging around and saw somewhere that the controlls on your steering wheel dont work anymore if you get a new deck put in. Is that true with all, or even some? I love my volume buttons, and my "1-6" for my xm radio, not to mention cruize controll....

 

You will not lose cruse control nomater what, and if you buy the special adapter you can keep the other controls too.

 

yes u need the pac-swi i believe it is and u can keep ur steering wheel controls. i got one when i put in my pioneer 4100 but it took a **** a few days later. i havent gotten around to getting a new one just yet. its pretty simple to install as well. basic directions come with it.

 

You can get adapters for the sterring controls to work. Just make sure you get a radio thats capable of doing it with an adapter
