Well, I will add this, the 05-06 gto does have the option of having no scoops in the hood......and i've actually seen an 05 silver with no scoops.....but i'd rather have the factory scoops on the goat

Then why come onto a forum that lets anyone post and ask for opinnions? I thought the scope look very cheap and wouldn't do much to make the car look any better. ..... I like the stripes, but not the scoop. Ive just never really been a fan of scoops... I love the mirrors too! I guess im going to be hella rice though beings as when I get my cobalt back and get my settlement from the accident Im buying a oem looking carbon fiber hood and trunk! not for the weight reduction either, I just like the look. Im not worried about other peoples comments or opinions because im not asking for them. its my car, not theirs. The only thing im worried about is I heard some people talking and i think ive read about going to carbon fiber parts can change the handling of the car because it throws off the weight distrubution or whatever

Agree 100% I thought about a hood scoop as well but if i go that route i will mold it into the hood with bondo and have it painted to match but i have yet to find one that looks good enough to consider this. I don't like that scoop but getting scoops will make the cars look different from those who have bought other aftermarket hoods that are ungoddly expensive!

I myself think the stripes look good .Scope its your option if it was my car id ditch the scoop,but its your car to make that decision on,and calling it RICE is pretty SAD

stripes are great. i was thinking about doing something similar to my car.
scoop, if you like it that's all that matters man. i mean, it isn't that bad of an idea. maybe try some different scoops before choosing one to see which ones look the best with the rest of the car.
