Hello I have a 2006 2.2 saturn ion. The flex pipe has a small leak so I'm going to replace it and put the better exhaust manifold on it from the 2.4 while I am in there. I see two different part numbers, one for the 2003-2007, and one for 2008 up cobalts. The difference looks to be some sort of EGR type passage on the flange that goes from an exhaust port to the hole in the head.

12581284 is the one from my year and is more expensive.

12603792 is the manifold I'm looking to get. It is listed as the 2nd design, and is on a 2008 model. The first part number is also listed on there, so what gives? Is the 2nd design compatible with my non California car?
