Worried about getting to work? Your old clunker starting to fall apart after another tough winter?
The Tonawanda News, Greater Niagara Newspapers and David Chevrolet are offering an answer — a new Chevrolet Cobalt.
Starting today, the News and its sister papers — the Niagara Gazette, Lockport Union Sun & Journal and the Journal-Register of Medina — will begin a 12-week contest that culminates July 1.
The papers will choose a name from qualified entries for a 2-year lease on a new Chevrolet Cobalt.
Readers can find a game board in today’s paper. In each week’s Sunday edition, game pieces will be available. The dates for the publication of these pieces are: April 10, 17, 24; May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; June 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Tonawanda News Associate Publisher Terry Shaw said this is one of the most exciting contests in the history of the newspaper, which just celebrated its 125th anniversary on April 1.
“This should be a lot of fun for our readers and our staff, too,” Shaw said.
Employees of David Chevrolet and Greater Niagara Newspapers are not eligible for this drawing.
Additional copies of the game board will be available at the News’ office, 435 River Road in North Tonawanda, until April 15.
