You could install it, but it would only net you a few hp if anything.

donn get a tune without any mods thats my opinion, u can cheaply get a set of 42 injectors and a 3 " pulley with this pcm and u'll see some gains ur butt dyno will notice lol....but to answer ur question its safe no biggie with this one...two things u gotta worry about if u dont send them ur own 1st " security system relearn & crank sensor position relearn " the 1st one is easy u can do it urself as for the second one its a dealer's thing and i believe somebody with hptuners should be able to do it

That kit is best, but only if you are running a h/e. zzp has some research that shows the 3.0 works better w/o cooling mods. Im running the zzp kit, Its enough power for me, atleast for now.

Yeah And your in the same boat I was in with GM stg 2. I bought that and wanted more so I had to buy injectors/etc again. Just get the good stuff from the beginning. Even if that's the case with the H/E it's still cheaper buying OTTP and a H/E than one of the weaker stage kits, replace everything and still need a H/E in the end.

well im a teen and get 200 bucks every 2 weeks to play with and not to patient to save up yet (prefer to blow it all at once lol). and i have doing window tint, tail light tint, floor mats, cop scanner, bow tie paint, tinted license plate cover, caliper paint etc. Performance and cheap are complete antonyms in my opinion. What should i start off with performance wise for 200?

I would reccomend against it.
Your best bet is to get a K&N intake. Beware clearance between the intake and brake lines.
K&N Engineers said that theres up to 1" varance in that. My car cannot run a K&N intake without it damaging the brake lines but you might be okay. Also watch for interferance between your PCM and the intake tube.

3" vs 2.5" Go with the ZZP

Is the k&n even stainless? ZZP is deff better. Let me think about it, it's pretty new so I really want 150. It has the filter, k&n I believe, have to check.

so you did an airbox mod and you can't hear the supercharger any better over stock?? that doesn't sound right, was it bone stock to begin with, did you do the mod right?

yes it was bone stock besides an exhaust. and yeah i can hear it a tiny bit more but as far as power, money, torque, boost level and sound....waste of time IMO. yes im sure i got 5 more hp yes it sounds a little more whiny but not much. i followed the how to exactly but i got a trailblazer K & N filter.

hp-maybe 5?(feel no power diff at all)
boost level-same
money-64.99 gone haha
sound-tiny bit more whinny but exhaust must cover it up i guess cuz it was louder stock with no exhaust.
torque/throttle response-no diff

No.

You cut off the whole box with the ABM. Off the top of my head I think it was K&N filter #1009? It should look like this..

i know that is an option but looks like **** hahaha. i followed the thread directions. that is not the end product.. but yeah thats the right filter. i left the bottom cover off and drilled a hole in the box for tighten and loosening the filter.
