alrite...lets see here.....

300....

well stock verse stock srt's and the balt arnt to far off...so consideringhes not just gonna hook up an WGA and over boost the stock turbo then a few simple things might do the trick

first off...driver mod...every body can always improve and a better driver can make a slow car fast.

2nd get an intake and do a pully swap...say a 2.9/2.8...its horibly close to killing the stock fuel system but it'll run strong and then next time you get some money do a set of injecters and a tune.

also if you do the pully swap dont forget to do the boost by pass so if you hit 16lbs it wont bleed off.

so 140 or so for pully and 200 or so for an intake and you'll have a leg up on a stock skittle.

little more then 300 but not much.

HTH

its GOING to be close....at stock rev cut off(6500) it'll be ok as long as you dont keep her high on revs for a long period of time.

if you go the route i sugjest i would say invest $11 in a 76mm PLASTIC NON FLANGED idler pully.

like i said...a set up like this will make the power needed to run away from a stock srt but thro a set of injecters in there with a tune as soon as you can just for saftysake.

i ran a 2.9 with an intake and exhasut for a LONG time with no issues but now that i've data loged the car and learned SOO much about our stock tunes and all that HPtuners jazz i can say its not the best idea...but do able.

feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

If i ******* head the god damn phrase "driver mod" 1 more time, I'm going to kill myself. Honestly, it's getting severely old now.

i think you need a track mod more than a driver mod.... you people just dont understand what big of a difference the track makes..... people hook up well, get a good time and are like OMG YES DRIVERMOD STAGE 3, when in fact the prep work was excellent that night..... driver mod my assssssss. My hat goes off to the track people not the driver...

well if you want to go 3in then you mine as well drop down to something like a BilletFlow 2.9

myself and a few friends used to/do run that set up with colder plugs and the boost by pass mod and it runs great!

I always thought a 2.9 was just a tad too small but and 3" was border line needing injectors. so that's what i got.

even if you get them to overnight it to you you have to install it... hence you need a puller. the install itself does not take if you have the tools.

intense has the plugs just order them when you get the pulley.

The truth is your never going to get the cobalt as fast as he can get his srt4 without spending way more money than him. I'd trade in for a srt4 also. If insurance didn't try to screw me so bad I'd be driving a srt4 right now.

More like Ford and Mercury.

Steelies $100

MT ET streets $500

Welcome to tractionville.

Also ask someone if you can borrow their cobalts spare doughnut. Then slap both on your cars rear before you hit the track. It may look hooptey but your shaving weight, and that's a no cost mod.

hahah 2006 gsxr 600 is the arguably the fastest (stock)600 in the world right now. like hayabusa in 05. to bad zx 1400 stole that title. Suzuki is coming back for it in 07-08 though!

well, i guess if you're gonna keep things legitimately under 600cc's, then I will agree. But the 6r still puts down more power than any of the big 4 600s. I can already tell you are the "suzuki will decimate all" type of rider...so I wont go any further. Do you wear sandals when you ride?...haha...just playin. Its all in good fun, bro...just look out for the cagers.
