ODB 2 reader

Will this ODB 2 reader work for 07 LS? Do I need one with a CAN-BUS?

I can't see it b/c work blocks the link, but if its a universal OBDII reader, it should work just fine. I bought an Actron reader off of Amazon for $50.

I believe i got the same one as you. I bought it on sale and keep it in my car at all times. Its the Mac ET-50 OBD2 reader. Its really handy and small.

Controller Area Network, basically, it's the communication line between the control modules in the vehicle

I bought a very nice Actron scanner but have been unable to get it to work on my Cobalt, despite the statement on Actron's website that ALL their scanners support the new CAN system. It does work perfectly on other cars however.

I just used a can and it didn't work on my 07 2.2l. Went to autozone used and checker. Neither would work, I don't want to go to the dealership. Anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes it worries me that my car is more intelligent than myself

Hence why I love working on my 68 Impala more
