the Front Bumper os an LT Bumper and it has a Chrome Grill. But the Vin Says it has a 2.4, anyone ever seen an SS/NA with those attributes? just curious

I'm guessing the car was hit in the front and they put an LT bumper on it instead. I saw a frickin' s/c that way before. They even pulled the middle grille. lol. Do I see an s/c lip..?!?

That looks to me like a Sport (because of the dark plastic fog light areas and fact that is appears to be an automatic), and somebody put on an aftermarket grill and SS badging on it. I know the SS/TC is manual tranny only and I thought that the SS/SC was the same way. I'm not sure about the SS/NAs though.

 

The 1st one says manual 5 speed but it clearly looks like an auto from the interior shot. And the 2nd one says leather heated seats and i didnt know that was an option on the 2.2. but it clearly has leather seats. trippy ****

 

They're both 2.4's. My God.

It also has a 2.4 front bumper, grille set, rear bumper, white face gauges, and 2.4 17's.. But I guess they added all of that. Oh, 5 lugs too.. But no, I guess they did all of that to an LS.

 

Not quite.....

1st one is a 2.4 SS according to the vin, guessing carfax would show a front end collision of some sort.

2nd one decodes as an 2.2 LS....theres one heck of a modding project

 

the sport has the same bumper/fog lights as the ss/sc, minus the lip of course.

And as I said before, the first one is a 2.4 that was front end hit, and the shop slapped that dumb ass bumper on it. Way to ruin a good s/c lip on a dumb ass bumper.

 

I've seen one like there in my town but black. Almost ran into another car while I was turning my head staring at that thing.

 

I just GM VIS searched it at work it is a 2.4L with Leather and an automatic Transmission

 

So nice of the insurance repair shop to give them an LS bumper instead of an SS bumper. Nice job. I would'a flipped.

Yes, the 2.2 and 2.4 cars came in both auto and manual, but the s/c and t/c models are only manual. The only boosted one that comes in auto also is the HHR SS t/c.

Correction:

It'd look good on an LS. It looks dopey on an SS.

Having that said, I guess you could use the GMPP LS front lip on the SS then since you can use the s/c lip on an LS bumper..?? It'd be the same, but just reversed..

the 2nd one is definetely a 2.4...maybe they messed up on the vin writing it down or for a different balt but there is not way that is a 2.2 or the person who owned it before is a jackass
