That 2.4 with the GM lip looks cool. What is the price difference between that lip and an SS lip new from GM? Side shot? Curious as to how it goes with the side skirts..

2nd one could be a 2.2....you can get five lug wheels with the 2 LT package......but what throws me off is the radio and HVAC controls.......2.2 have black while the SS is silver. I dunno

 

you couldnt get 5 lug wheels on a LT till 07 i thought. ad and vin says 06. i will go check the yellow one out this week

I did. If you have an LS bumper with an s/c lip on an LS, it'd look cool. But if you have an LS bumper with an s/c lip on an SS when you SHOULD have an SS bumper - it looks dopey.

 

HA you can put a ss/sc lip on the lt bumpers..... i was just fixin to experiment with mine. lol i already had the lip comin.

who ever said somethin bout the dash kits in the ls'lt bein black is only half right. i have a 06 2lt and it came stock with the silver dash trim.

have you started on that tail light project yet?

 

I guess that I never thought about it since I didn't have an LS. lol. But it makes sense. If they weren't so hard to come by, I'd get one for my girls LS.. But hell, I want one first. lol.

 

The first one is interesting. Its a 2.4 with a 2.2 bumper rocking a 2.0 front lip. Wow....franken-front end.

Not yet I started with the headlights first. But I know exactly what I need for the tails. Had to do alot of research on different types of LEDs and the intensity of them. I got the right mcd that I need tho

 

I'd for sure do that if I had an LS.. But luckily I don't..

Yup. When I ordered my 2.4SS years ago, when I told them I wanted the non-supercharged SS the first words that came out of the salesman's mouth was "there is no such thing as a non-supercharged Cobalt SS" I had to explain it to the guy b/c he was literally unaware of the car's existence.

yea i went to check out a new ss/tc not to long ago and the guy was tryin to tell me some things bout it and i was like no you're wrong bout that. i hate talkin to people like that when they try to tell you bout stuff you know is wrong and then they look at you puzzled when you correct them

still lookin for the skirts. i have the rear and front lips on the way.

if by chance you come across a set of skirts please let me know.

 

SS s/c rear? So you bought the s/c lip? New or used? What'd you pay? I've been looking for one forever..

 

yea i have the front and rear comin right now. i paid 370 used for the front and rear with clips and grilles from a memeber on here. luckily they are black and thats what i wanted.

 

No pics yet. But I had to use single LEDs. The strips didn't work cuz of the angles
