Im in Toronto, Canada and have been to Chevy numerous times for resurfacing. It is a hassel for me to come in all the time to get this done. I tried the same things you did but also got the same results. The steering wheel vibration caused by this problem is very agrevating

 

i'm in canada to and my car is going back for the 4th time for brake rotor issuse, but this time there not being machined there being replaced or i'm not taking the car back until they are.

 

this is happening on the g6 also?

 

yeah i guess ive come to the conclusion that for $600 i can have all 4 slotted rotors, hawk pads and stainless lines installed so im taking that option.

Dear GM,

Your choice of rotors and pads combination on this vehicle are terrible. After 5,000 my front rotors warped and the dealership gave me hell and even lied to my face. After countless arguments with the service manager they resurfaced them as a 'dealership good will'. 1,000 miles later they were warped once again. And once again the dealership (John L. Sullivan Chevrolet) blamed me and told me i was using the car to 'drift' (which isnt even possible in a front wheel drive car). I dont care how hard you are on the brakes of a BRAND NEW car... they shouldnt warp after 5,000 miles.
