Sorry didn't take pics of it being done and its a pretty nasty outside now, it still leaks oil from the hoses so not a real good solution anyways. Hope it works for you, keep us posted if you get a better solution. Would be happy to hear it. Sorry can't be more help.

Chevrolet in New Jersey has the oil cooler and my car it's bolted onto the block $950 for part and about $350 for labor at my mechanic. Hopefully this is the fix

make sure the part # is correct, there are 3 models of coolers. I couldn't find any in 2 weeks of searching for my 2.4l cobalt .

Best bet is -10AN fittings.
Make a loop like to just recirculate or direct to an external oil cooler.

I'm thinking about the whole solid tubing recirculated idea and I don't want to. Without the car in front there is no sure bet the tube won't infere with something.
Hey im wondering if it's worth it to setup an external cooler for the lsj. Because fabricating mounts for the cooler itself seems like it would be a pain in the butt. Thanks.
