Ottp?

I was looking into a heat exchanger from OTTP...A friend of mine said they will never again back up OTTP's customer service..are the parts cheap quality? Should I save the money and go ZZP all the way? I havent heard much about them...actually just found out they existed pretty close to home

personally have bought from them a few times, never had an issue with them. only hiccup i had was my intake didn't come with a hydo-shield. set him a message, got it like 3 days later no problem. their service seems a bit spotty nowadays. i last bought from them last may when i ordered my caliper brake lines.

i've bought a few things from them and quality wise ottp makes really good parts, especially for the money/sales they have. as stated above however, the service has been a little spotty. i was waiting for some brake pads for like a week or two and i was callling, pming, etc.. took about 2 weeks and he finally got at me saying the pads werent in stock. gave me a refund so all went good

Thankyou for your reviews, I emailed them and it is taking a long time for a reply compared to zzp. I understand everyone's busy though. You guys have input on the heat exchanger?

i have their heat exchanger. got it when i ordered their stage 2 kit. It has been great! no leaks, good quality, and best of all its very durable. i lived in Atlanta for a year and the roads suck as far as scraping and what not. there were a few times when i could have sworn it would destroy the H/E but it took it like a champ. just a few scrapes.

only h/e that's worth getting from them imo is the griffin. And I believe zzp is selling that one now too.

Thanks for the words guys, I think I'll go with that heat exchanger when I do the stage 2. It's a bit cheaper than the zzp one

Call Josh at OTTP don't email him. His cell number is on their website. Much easier and faster to get a response. I've ordered lots from them and have always been happy.

Really? I talked to a few more people and they are telling me the customer service is TERRIBLE. I am glad you posted this. I ended up getting ahold of the guy and he didnt seem friendly or trustworthy. I think I will just take my business to ZZP.

OTTP sells the best HE for the SS/SC (griffin), Turbo Tech has the best upper mount, and Powell rotated mounts are the best for the lowers. Besides that, it's six to one half dozen for most the other parts as far as vendor products being better/more quality than others, so I'd go off of customer service besides those part mentioned above

I concur with your fixation haha. Gracias.

Powell helped me (some random guy from Michigan who e-mailed him) out with my project and even sent me a Y fitting for my dual pass free of charge after he refused my payment. Needless to say ZZP and Powell will be experiencing lots of business in the future from myself when I get my next car.

I think you are the guy that I was texting the other day? Anyways you asked about stage kits, our stage 2 is already over $100 cheaper than zzp but if you want to come pick everything up I will give you an extra $50 off. It is all in stock.

you are correct sir. They do not indeed sell it atm. I did some follow up myself and found out. But seeing as how OP is not going through OTTP after all, I didn't feel the need to post much at this point.
