OUCH! talk about depreciated value!
That's ok at least your not getting shafted like I am. Since my car has a 12 page service history tied to the VIN number they count that against the car because it's a problematic car.. *G* no one wants that...so why am I stuck with it?
They want to give me 13k for it. I still owe $15k
Eventually I can't wait to trade it in next year if that is what the outcome is when I have a vendor meet with GM and my dealership soon about this car.

That usually depreciates the value even quicker since it wasn't factory equipment.

well, the ABSOLUTE SECOND you take these cars off the lot, they go down in value... a 21,000 car that you drive home now has a resale value of 14,000... it's rediculous... he's probably doing the good ole ricer math... well, i paid 23,000 for the car, 4,000 for the lambo doors, 5,000 for the air ride, so that's 32,000...
Per KBB my car is worth:
Condition Value
Excellent $19,200
(Selected)
Good $18,040
Fair $15,975
Surprisingly it doesnt list the option for the Leather recaro's and LSD which was worth 1500bucks when I bought my car.
Also if you take into acc my mods I would have to sell it on the street or I would lose mad money on the extra parts I put into the car.
I took out a loan for 16,500 when I bought the car October of 2005 so even if I sold it now I would make money Hopefully....

I don't think KBB is accurate on the value of our cars. It's too high. Check out TMV. That site says my car is worth $15k vs. $18k through KBB. IF you read my last post I explained why I think it's too high.
