Pacesetter cat-back question

I know there are a few of us on here. I am just wondering if anyone elses sounds like it is breaking up on the down rev?? kinda sounds like a little backfire. I am wondering if it is from the resionator<sp> tip that is on there??
If I would swap out the tip would it stop???Yes I know you get what you pay for
Other then that it sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok i do not have the pacesetter catback, but i believe u are getting that noise from the lack of a resonator, the resonator is after the cat, not the tip... the tip has absolutly nothing to do with that.. you are getting this noise because u do not have a resonator

ive heard systems with resonators garggle when slowing down , its something usualy done with a low restriction exhaust

changing the tip wont change the tone or eliminate the garggle

I've had a couple of backfires at the track when downshifting before, its always right around 3000 rpms where it gargles and backfires
