pcm question

I would like to get my pcm tuned, however if i have issues with it id like to bring it back to stock, so that being said, can i purchase a second pcm and give that to say intense racing to have them tune it as long as i give them my vin number?

yes that is why there is a core charge on these pcms. For instance with ottp, you pay an extra 125 if you have them send a pcm to u. You get that 125 back if you send in your old one and if you dont send back your old pcm they keep that 125.

i suggest an ottp pcm. there have been many horror stories with zzp's blowing peoples engines up. OTTP hasen't had any problems as far as i know and are deffinately the favorite amongst people on here.

Intense had some popped motor's but i haven't seen ZZP having "Problems". People need to get off the bash ZZP bandwagon.

I suggest considering trifecta, if you go through a dealer or buy the cable, you can return to stock or reflash the tune back on it at your leasure, with no need for a second ECU or TCM (there is no PCM on these cars)
