That sux. Your dealer should be finding out that code for you. You are after all buying a car from them
i talk to the sales manager at the dealer that i work for and they said that they never hear of the package. they've looked at everything they had but found nothing. i've also called the chevy hot line and talked to someone in marketing but they said that they know nothing about it.

If have found that most car salesman dont know **** about cars. Almost ever time I have gone to a dealer, I have known more about that car Im looking at than they do. Im talking about basic stuff too. If I was a car sales person, Id want to know as much about a vehicle as I could so that I could interest buyers into buying the car. I mean it look s really bad when you dont know jack about something youre trying to sell.
I work with salespeople all the time. Whether they are selling cars, stereos, farm equipment or copiers, they are all morons. It takes a different kind of person to be a salesman who actually makes it and doesn't wash out after a couple of weeks. Most of them do. The ones who do make it though, they're lazy ****** who don't really give a rat's ass about the customer or the product they're pushing. Sorry if I sound kind of cynical and jaded

I make very good money selling cars during the summer, and I am neither lazy nor a moron. I see my customers all the time so I do have to care about them and take care of them for the long run and not just pressure sales. LOL I do see where you are coming from, I've talked to my fair share of sales morons my self
Myself and a lot of the guys at the dealership I work at put in 60+ hr weeks, not that it's real hard work but we are always working at it, and we keep up with our product knowledge absolutely as well as we can. I gotta say, as a sales person GM (and I'd imagine the other makers also) really leave you hanging. We are privy to a very limited amount of pre rollout info on the vehicles, and I actually learn more here then from GM about the Cobalt.

I go to the University of Alberta. I'm in my last semester of my B. Comm (Bachelor of Bus. Admin in the states I think) with a major in marketing.
As a side note, the owner's son at the dealership graduated from Georgian with honors, and he is really more detrimental to the dealership than advantageous (and he can't even use a computer) so I'm not really sure if it's as practical as it seems.

Then again when you know that your going to take over the family dealership you dont really have to work that hard in school.
edit: didnt see he graduated with honours. well all i can say is there are some pretty smart people coming out of georgian, but there are always exceptions.

Look
Seat Update.
The SS/SC seats with colored insert will not be heated, however the Ebony and Gray Coupe Leather seats come heated standard. Also the SS/SC will have an EZ entry passenger seat but the "Tuner" version with Recaro Blak with gray mesh inserts on the front seats will not be heated and will not have EZ function passenger seat. Also the rear 60/40 and rear cushion are solid Ebony leather no gray mesh colored inserts. Black with Gray are the only color of Recaro seats available for this model.

where are you getting this info?
It doesn't make sense that they would only be for certain colors...
Chevy needs to get their **** together.
http://www.chevrolet.com/byo/byoSele...ewVehicle=true
If you look at the little info blurb for the SS S/C it says that it comes with heated seats.
It would be nice to get some honest answers on how these things are actually going to be equipped in stock form........ Obviously none of the pictures that I've seen of the SS S/C have the buttons for the seat heaters, and I've I haven't seen it listed in any specs other than the ones at the link above when you go to build one on chevy's website.......

Wow
I jumped to the GM link and tried to make sense of the seating options for coupes!
Currently, we are building coupe seats in
1 - Base Gray cloth no heat
2 - Up Level Gray cloth no heat
3 - Up Level Ebony Cloth no heat
4 - Gray Leather with heat
5 - Ebony Leather with heat
6 - L4 which is Ebony w/ perforated colored inserts in Blue, Red, Yellow as well as Black with the embroidered SS logo on the A-surface.
Styles 1-6 all have EZ entry passenger seats
Recaro's however do not.
7 - L4 Recaro Black with Gray mesh inserts with the embroidered SS logo on the A-surface front seats only, the rear seat in this car will have L4 Ebony with Ebony perforated inserts.
Coupes have no Neutral or Tan color options and Sedans have no Ebony or Black color option yet
Pontiac has only one unique trim or cloth in Gray no heat, Ebony was cancelled for some reason last summer.
All passenger seats will have POD's Passive Occupant Detection in 2006.
