Performance upgrade questions

So i know you can get the basic upgrades, Stage 2, cold air intake, exhaust, nitrous.

What else can i do?

I have a 05 SS 2.0 and am looking for what else i can do.. From what i take with those mods i can get about 300 hp(nitrous can give more or less depending on how safe i want to be.). What else can i buy? i want to get about 400 hp hopefully and dont want to use a 150 shot to get there....

Help me please...

I also know people post this stuff all the time and people say to use the search but i did for like 2 hours straight and couldnt find anything but the basics... so now i ask for help.

bingo.

if you can do the work, and can piece together a turbo kit, you can do it for a few grand.

Also plan on a slight motor build if you want over 400whp reliably. Stock pistons won't last forever up there.

I agree...should probably go turbo...hell that's what chevy decided. Besides, if you go aftermarket you can get a loud ass blow off valve.

The deal is that with a turbo it uses exhaust gas to spin a turbine that's attached to the compressor wheel and the gas makes the turbo really hot hence the air that the compressor pulls in gets hot from the heat from the turbo. The compressor sends the air to the throttle but usually goes through some type of intercooler. Usually liquid cooled intercoolers CAN cool better but air to air are generally cheaper and bigger so the cooling differences may be small. As well with an a/a no lines or chances of fluid leaks. Is this right or wrong?

A header kit, and solid engine mounts mounts....

You might want to also lower it and get a sway bar on there...

why? if you use it inccorectly it will. Your engine will also go boom if you pulley down and dont tune accordingly. nitrous is perfectly fine if used within certain parameters. Cbodnar has done it if you dont believe me, ask him.
