It's a performance ride & handling package on the SS model.
The 1LE first made its appearance on the 1988 Camaros as a track pack, and now it's back!
The performance enhancements over the SS are as follows:
- Z06 6-speed trans with 3.91 gears (stock SS has 3.45's)
- ZL1 Wheels/tires 20x10 front, 20x11 rear
- ZL1 high capacity fuel pump
- Monotube shocks
- Thicker front & rear stabalizer bar
- Air to liquid transmission cooler
- Available ZL1 dual mode exhaust
- ZL1 intermediate shaft
- Some other ZL1 bits
There is no new rating on the LS3 power wise (still 426 bhp), but members on Camaro5 with 2013 Camaros are saying they are quicker than the 2012's, 11's, & 10's due to the new electric power steering & available duall mode exhaust.

No amount of mods to the Cobalt will make it a better car than the 1LE. I say if you can afford the Camaro, go back to stock, sell the parts and use the Cobalt trade in plus the parts proceeds to get the 1LE.
On the other hand, if you owe a small amount on the Cobalt or it's paid off it may be better to throw something on there and bring back that loving feeling. That way you avoid a larger car payment and more debt.
Either way, good luck.

The Cobalt has been paid off for 4 years, haha.
The Camaro payments will be no problem, I'm just having a hard time letting the Cobalt go. Some days I look at the car & love it, and other days I feel like I need something new. It sucks, because I purchased the Cobalt as a present to myself after graduating college and obtaining my career. It has a lot of sentimental value.... not to mention the blood, sweat, & tears that went into making it the car it is today.

I looked on tirerack and you have a choice of 76 wheels. Check those out and use the "view on your vehicle" option.
Again, good luck.
Whatever you do, don't get a V6 Camaro. That'd be almost as ghey as a V6 Mustang.
haha

Not much would be coming off other than the H62, armrest, interceptor, springs, and maybe the heat exchanger.
Wish I could, but I would need to use the Cobalt for a down payment....
It sounds like you'll regret the sale if you get rid of it. The only way to remedy that is to get a car that you'll love more than the Cobalt. Only problem is you won't know until you've had the new car for a while. Basically, you're screwed. LOL.

My problem is.... do I put more money in the Cobalt, or purchase a new car? Is it even worth spending money on anymore? These are the decisions I think about daily, haha.
I don't think I would so much "regret" selling the car, but I sure would miss it!
Also, I wouldnt waste my time with a V6 Camaro. That in my eyes would be a downgrade in performance, haha.

Photoshop looks a little too brown but real good! do it staged!
also i think tc wheels only look good without the hirise spoiler... and with le brembos behind them
Haha, nah....
Everyone misunderstoond my request.
I do like the opinions and comments from everyone. Gets me thinking.
I've considered aftermarket wheels....
I would like to see what my wheels would look like on my car in a dark graphite color like riceburner has.
I love the look of the SS/SC 18's, they are unique.

My 2 cents is don't sell it. Put some little touches into it to make you fall in love again. There's soooo much stuff you could do to make that car look bad ass. Get married, save some cash and buy a Camaro keeping the Balt as your DD.
Not to mention it's the cleanest Cobalt on this forum hands down.

seems like you got alot of stuff going on financially.. I'd personally keep your beloved cobalt as your DD, then when money is a bit better get the camaro
lets face it you wont get much on trade in anyways.. its a cobalt
