well some of you probably know that some kids messed with my car one nite. they tried to pry off my rear bowtie. here are some pics of it.




i used some floss and a hair dryer, but it wouldnt come off so i ended up using my key lanyard.

after some WD40 and a tiny bit of gasoline the sticky residue came off and i waxed it up and it looks like this:




i have the touchup paint on order and should be arriving at my dealership any day. im gonna try to touch it up the best i can and then either get a replacement or get one of those carbon fiber ones cuz i dont think the touch up is gonna look as good as i would want it. though it does look nice without the badge.

 

Sorry to hear that, kids up to no good in the middle of the night, are you gonna put another bowtie back on?

 

well, I mean theres no doubt that what happend sucks but take heart in the fact that it looks alot worse to you than 99% of the people that see it, most won't notice the small scratches but all in all the little bastards that did it need to be taught a lesson.

 

yea im gonna touch it up first. then i think im leaning towards a carbon fiber emblem. im just kinda nervous that they would mess with that even more though, but i dont wanna not do something to my car in fear that someone will mess with it cuz then ill get no where in life.

 

I was crawling under neith my car working on fixing a leaky exhuast clamp this morning and apparently my wallet worked it's way out of my pocket. Went up stairs to pee, noticed and bolted outside to get it. It was gone. I wasn't even away from my car for more than a minute. B4 I went upstairs there were three kids ridin bikes, they haven't been back today and they always are out on the weekend. Then as I'm filling out the police report w/ the officer, he notices my car was tomatoed on the passenger side. :cussing" BAD BAD day......

 

i hate little kids i had one run directly into my car on a skateboard when i was driving (no i didnt hit him...he hit me) and i had to have my windshield replaced and my driver side mirror is still broke and i got an estimate on that for $189 and the kids parents are refusing to pay too bad the police report has him at fault also =) yea this is gonna be going to court lol and to top it all off the little a$$ had a huge cup of brown pop that went all over my silver interior that i had to spend 2 hrs cleaning up also...seriously where are the parents now days?? lol

Yea, people need to put damn leashes on their kids if they can't f***king behave. ARGH. Tomatoes I can handle, but that $200 in my wallet is hurtin me a lil. So much for my share of HP Tuners with the local LSJ'ers.

I had just put it in there today to put into a moneyorder later today.....so much for that. ****, normally I'm lucky to have $20 in my wallet cause I use my debit card for EVERTHING.
