It will take a few months but thats what my current plan is.

 

An intake and header will not yield you 27 horsepower. An eBay performance chip is NOT going to yield you 25 more horsepower. Easy power = GM Stage 2.

 

There isn't a performance chip for teh SS/SC......that is a fake one.

That CAI isn't going to give you 17hp dude...sorry, it just won't.


Its a good plan. But I don't like the headlight covers or taillight covers. The rest of teh stuff sounds good.

Its more for the quicker shifting. My current peice o crap automatic transsmision, well..u know..lol its the suxxorz!

 

The chips do nothing dude...don't waste your time and especially, your money. I believe a member on here has an aftermarket mod, that shifts betetr with automatics.

no dude...the chip dosnt do anything, theres a small resistor inside w/e fancy packaging there using this week, that will trick the computer into thinking the air its taking in is cooler/more dense, then the computer will compensate by dumping a shitload of gas into the motor, which will foul plugs more likely then not, and you will get no performance out of it, accuallly expect a loss if anything

 

If you want a faster firmer shift get your valve bodies in the tranny redone. Any good trany shop can rework them for better shifts. You may also want to look for a high stall torque converter. Stay away from chips because they are scams for the most part. There are none out for the cobalt that isn't a scam.

It is supposed to improve automatic shifting.

Thats not a chip. That is what i was talking about earlier. The B&M Shiftplus. A member on here has it. HackAbuse I believe.

You knew what he meant. Don't pick apart what he said. He probably knows that there is only one header. Hell I even do that. I know I have only one but I say 'headers'.

 

lame, it's pretty universally accepted to say headers even if you only have one.

hope you'll posts a pic when your done with your plan and that you'll give an update from time to time. there are tons of mods that we can do to our cars. really depends on what and the budget that we are willing to spend on it. just a month ago, my brother gave this new gm vent visor to me as a gift. I'm also planing to do some exhausts mods, soon.
