Holy Crap, my car has horsepower! I didn't even know it came with that option. J/K

Dynoed stock at 214hp/201tq, Got stage 2 today(Santa came early) and since my wife doesn't know much about cars I have her convinced that I need a CAI in order for stage two to work properly, ordering that tomorrow. I'll dyno again as soon as I find one here.

w-w-w-wait! You put 8.5:1 pistons in the car without running more boost!?!? Your gonna loose power, it take a little tweaking but the car runs fine on 9.5:1 compression. Unless you up the boost more your gonna loose some pretty good power dropping 1 full compression point!

I was looking at swapping to a turbo in the next few months prior to getting the car back on the road. At the current time it stripped, with the bare motor on the motor stand awaiting parts, the way thing are going now I'll probably switch out to a 10.0:1 piston and a whipple supercharger. Like it says Currently under construction.

I personally think its gay that no one offers 9.5:1 forged pistons! 10:1 is too high and 8.5:1 is too low

Why don't they just offer a 9.5:1 instead of making you custom order them!?!?

Be the first to get custom 9.5:1 forged pistons made and then most others who want them will just be able to order them

Mahle will be one step ahead of diamond as Mahle made the stock pistons.

Yeah I called just about all of them, they can get you 9.5:1, but its a custom order piston and will take a little longer to get. I talked to Scott from CPP today and he was talking about trying to get a GB on wiesco pistons if we could get enought people interest in a GB. The compression ratio would probably just depend on what U wanted I don't think prices vary on custom pistons.

JBP ordered me custom Wiseco pistons, 8.0:1 and I was told 4-5 week turnaround.

Mahle Power Pak kit won't work on the LSJ rods, they have a 21MM wrist pin, and LSJ rods have a 23MM wrist pin. So, unless you call Mahle up and custom order a set your probably going to have to use 2.2 rods. I'll be able to tell you more tomarrow.

8.0:1? Exactly how much boost are you planning on running???
P.S. After I do my twin screw swap (including full motor build, I'll race you... with a cobalt ss SUPERCHARGED unlike yours)

Conservatively, 30lbs
Now your being mean to me. Most people know I never originally planned to get rid of the SC. The project grew, went sideways and then changed. I am now where this project has taken me and to start in another direction because of new developments will only delay me more. I have been with out my car since May 21st and I really want my car back. Sadly I will just have to accept a twin turbo Cobalt.

The vids won't start showing up until the new year. As for pics the really interesting stuff I haven't got pics to share simply because some of this stuff is either still a secret of fabbing is just wrapping up. January will bring some substantial updates\teasers.
