Potentially something serious?

i dont know everything about these cars yet and i think there may be a problem with my 2.0. it seems as if something is loose when i get in and out of my car and the e-brake is pullled. i've done this over and over again and cannot figure out what it is. even when i just push on the car to make it rock the sound will make a "clank". it sounds like something in the rear as if maybe a hanger or something is missing, but when i take the e-brake off it seems to go away. any suggestions? sorry if its a repost, although i did search through threads for a while. Thanks in advance for any help!

mine does it too... I believe its just the noise of the actual brake as it is locked... as you/car or the tire rock back and forth you will here it hit its "stop" point

oohhh i know what it is. Well could be. If you dont pull on the Ebrake hard enough, when i sit in it, or get out, the weight difference makes the brakes make a weird noise. I had the same prob when my car was new.

Try pulling ure Ebrake hard (well not hard that u break something) but pull it firmly!
