powdercoating wheels

generaly, how much would it cost to get my stock wheels powder coated black?

$240 is not too bad...maybe ill have to look into painting myself..i just want black wheels with my yellow balt badley

I was told $400 for blasting, powdercoating, and remounting and balancing. But I can blast them myself haha, so it woulda been less, never got around to doing it tho.

there is a place here in ohio that will do them for $25 a wheel. i seen a balt supercharger they did in mirror black, looked really sharp. they charged the guy $35. when i asked about the warranty, they said 2 years.

that blower looks good but one thing....Usually doing what you did causes it to keep in heat, usually causing problems in the end

i have never heard of any overheating problems or heavy heat buildups because of powdercoating. have there been any studies on this issue before? i would be curious to know if this heat buildup has been proven by anyone or is it just another myth.

do you have any pics of the blower on the car?

i was told $55 a rim my brothers good friend does that stuff so when i get some more cash im going to have my rims done gunmetal.

That is what i heard numerous times even from chroming... Is this true or not?? because it makes the engine bay look even better!!

people have been powdercoating, chroming, and using heat wraps for many years. i have never heard of anyone loosing a motor or hp because of this.
