i have never heard of any overheating problems or heavy heat buildups because of powdercoating. have there been any studies on this issue before? i would be curious to know if this heat buildup has been proven by anyone or is it just another myth.
do you have any pics of the blower on the car?

people have been powdercoating, chroming, and using heat wraps for many years. i have never heard of anyone loosing a motor or hp because of this.
