Powell Front Trans Mount
Just a quick question about the mount.
When I received my mount, they put in 2 extra spacers. I thought the triangle space was for the rear mount and I have no idea about the other cylinder spacer. Anyone have any info on this, maybe John himself? ;P thanks in advanced.

I'm only upgrading the front mount, so why did they give the triangle one? Am I supposed to put that in along with the stock LNF rear mount?
And will I need that cylinder spacer? I think I only got one, idk if you implied there should be 2 or not.

you need to put the rear mount space in to aid with the rotation of the motor and the 1 front piece goes inbetween the subframe mount and his mount. you will see right away where it goes when you bolt up the mount to the trans. it only goes in one spot.
I searched and searched looking for info on these mounts... What are the owner's opinions on them? I am looking for a rotated mount and heard these are the best. What material is the insert? I am looking for a stock feeling (low increase in NVH) and want the benefits of the rotatated mounts.
My brief experience before my motor grenaded was excellent. No vibration at all. Tried to rock the motor in the engine bay and it wouldn't budge an inch. Stage 1 is perfect for a DD. Can't wait to test the real reason for buying them soon lol.

John should have emailed you a great how to on it with every minor detail when you purchased it from him. I've had mine for just over a month now and they are great. No vibes at all but no wheel hop either. Yes the circular spacer goes on the driver side of the front tranny mount and the keyhole spacer goes under the rear mount.

If you say so, with my luck I'd screw it up Lol.
I am not understanding this. While I try to send "how to " instructions with every purchase, I may well have screwed up and not done so. If you have an F23 2.2 or 2.4 the front mount has two spacers and is different. I fyou have an 04 redline the mount is different with a single spacer. If you have an 05-10 SS s/c or turbo there is one spacer. All use a triangular rear spacer.
Please email me john@powellraceparts.com for a detailed "how to" I am kinda at a loss to figure out why you would not email me to get the "how to". My apologies for not sending it, I need your email to do so. cheers
