Power-foot managment on the SS/SC

I have found that after getting the STG2 and the Injen CAI installed I have issues driving my car as I love to hear the whine of the SC and feel the Torque of this little SC 4 banger setting be back in the seat

I catch my self driving like a teenager & looking for Honda's to spank ha ha ha, I am 43 years old & just found a new lease on driving as far as a fun adrineline rush.

I had a 1999 Super charged Tahoe & it was fun but this Cobalt has gotten me by the ***** as I catch my self pressing abit more on the gas & shifting to the next gear & at times I look down & think oh **** I better slow down

The funny thing is my wife loves the car & I see her looking at me when I let a little jap car drive off in front of me at a light as she is waiting for me to nail the gas & put em in my mirror

I have not had a ticket in over 10 years & just wonder when will they catch me I was just wondering if it's just me or are most you other older or even younger gear heads finding the same rush as you press the gas & shift gears with a **** eating grin on your face ????

I now have named my car Ruby for my Ruby red SS as she makes me smile & gives me a reason to go to work each day as I have to pay for Ruby my other girl I have the next 3 days off work to take my First Girl on vacation & I'm looking forward to driving Ruby my second girl there!

Just my $.02

Good to hear you're having fun driving. At the end of the day thats all it's about, enjoying the car. Once my stg 2 is installed I do believe I will get pretty agressive on the road with others, seeing how now I hunt ppl down.

Girlz love this car.

Same experience here, except i went with stage 10, this is where they take the cobalt and give you a GTO. In the end it has the same effect. Smiling all the time while driving. My #1 baby gets jealous when i play with my #2 baby too much. Now i just need to get my #1 into my #2 and then all will be perfect.

I too am older (46) and I love going faster. I keep trying to come up with reasons to hop on the highway. I even enjoy it more when there is someone to spank out there but I have no luck finding takers, perhaps because my exhaust is so loud they know I am there to have fun. I now find myself looking for stangs or chrysler 300\charger\magnums to test my car with

All the Stage kits come with an instruction booklet and it has a code on the front of the instruction booklet. The delaer is instructed to call GM Technical support and provide the vehicle VIN number being upgraded and the code from the booklet and bam they are able to upload the new configuration to your car and then you get a VCI number or Vehicle Configuration Index and is good for 1 specific vehicle and 1 VIN

Yea last night I got off work & turned the corner & the guy ahead of me was thinking it was Sunday as he was driving like 20 in a 35 so I jumped over one lane & zipped by him & look over & MR cop was setting there as I look down & was doing 60 in a 35 & I just let off the gas & started whistleing as I drove by & I was lucke there were several cars ahead of me & around me so he really could not hit me with radar Wheew

I catch my self wanting to drive across town to go to best buy for movies but when I get there I think dam this is the 3rd time this week I have realized I have all the new movies already
