Hope you didn't buy that New Edge and hope to go out and run 12's, I would bet it never ran the time posted.....

03 GT

Stage 1 Cams
Throttle body
Intake plenum
Long tubes
Catless midpipe
Catback
SCT Tune (94 octane)
Underdrive pulleys
Short throw shifter
4:10's
Axles
Steeda suspension
Drag radials

304whp
326 ft-lbs

What did it run?.... 12.9 @ 107...with a 1.8 60'..

That's a lot of money/**** to dip into the 12's. A well driven Catfish with the same tires can pull the same times (if not faster) and trap the same (if not higher) stock...add a nice cam to one..

And the 11's on tire and gear.. This is the closest NE I could find to a 11.99 was an 11.8 @ 115.
That car had bolt-on's, suspension and a Vortech S Trim (15 psi).

Honestly with out a lot of work the 2V isn't what you would think, I had one.

ok you can talk **** about a 2v gt but dude seriously lol? a 4v mach 1 can run 12.9s stock. with tires, exhuast, and driver mod then can get down to low 12's. Ive seen gts with blowers dip into high 10s/low 11's. i ran this gt with full bolt ons, new tires (10s in rear) and racing clutch and came out 12.76. very tough in a ss/sc which is what i came from. na/v8 vs 4 banger with a blower COOL.. The ss/sc i had ottp stage 2 got destoryed from a 20 roll from this gt. I liked the cobalt but that little rubberband engine can only be pushed so hard. id put 5000k in a mustang gt over a cobalt ss/sc any day.

find a cobalt ss/sc that will do this LMFAO

So you post a vid of a Termi to defend your 2V?

Rx7 FTW you can find one on ebay for 7K and with the rotary engine you can pull 24 PSI without even trying. then theres also the dual turbo option, plus its everything you could ever need a perfect tuner, cheap parts, and its RWD. i mean thats what i'd do.

89-93 fox body mustang, must be the LX model. either hatch or coupe would be fine.

You must be an old guy like me to know about those cars. They were one of the best kept secrets of the high performance world back in the day. I actually had my hand in my pocket ready to put a healthy deposit on a new Syclone at one time. Then I started to think of how I was going to explain it to the ex. I should have made her my ex much sooner. I would still have that truck. All the running gear from that truck could be swapped into a AWD Astrovan too. Ahhhhh!!!! THOSE were the days!!!!! ACTUALLY! The SS/TC does bring back some of the emotions of the Syclone/Typhoon. Only not to quite the same degree. Did you ever ride in a Syclone? A genuine 10 ticket ride. 0 - 60 in 4.6 seconds and a 1/4 mile in 13.4 at 98mph. Not bad for a truck from the factory in 1991.

You just missed my 88 Fiero GT with a LS1 in the back. It was sold last month. Perfectly streetable car that I wouldn't hesitate to take on a 1000 mile trip any time. And pop the wheels at every light. Decided to concentrate on one car. Not enough hours in the day anymore or money in the bank.
