Probably a dumb question...
A friend of mine told me that if I purchased aftermarket parts (i.e. Exhaust, Intake, etc...) that I could have the dealer install them and there would be some type of warranty attached to them through the dealer. Is that true??? Like I said, I'm sure it's a dumb question but I could not find anything on the site about that... But I already have my flamesuit on.

If you buy GMPP intake, exhaust, or manifold they come with one-year warranty...if you install, no labor warranty...if dealer installs, labor is warranted for one-year with the GMPP parts.
If you have the GMPP parts installed before you buy the car, the GMPP parts go under the car's factory warranty -- labor and parts.

If you can't install the GMPP intake within the Wal-mart parking lot using nothing more than a butterknife, you shouldn't be modding your car.
Seriously, none of the bolt-ons require any specific technical know-how and most come with good instructions (or how-to's in this forum!).
Point is -- you can do it yourself, and buy a better product (or another mod) with the $$ you'd save by not paying labor on install Even if you don't wanna do it yourself (exhaust work maybe) you should shop around on install. I had Monroe install mine I believe, like $50 and took less than 30 mins.
Just do your research and pick the style you want. A lot of folks will tell you GMPP is overpriced, I think the exhaust sounds good, didn't really care for the intake when I had it though.
I actually still have the GMPP Intake sitting in my garage, I'll let it go cheap (less than 1/2 list price, plus shipping) if you're interested. Only ran it for about 3,000 miles - then went turbo.
