Exclamation Problem With CAI

i have a 2006 chevy cobalt LS well i recently bought a Fujita 2005 CAI for a 2.2 which my car is, well i installed it and everything went well. I test drove it down my block and everything and good when to work the next and everything good well all of a sudden my CEL went on so i thought something bad had happen and the temp would go up and down. So i was thinking i probably have to put everything back on stock, so my friend told me he had the same problem and wat he did was unplud the battery from the car and wat that does is restart the computer from the car, when i turned it on it didn't give the problem anymore so i'm wondering if that was the problem or wat. I'm afraid that if i run the rpms up its gonna turn the light back on because its more air the usuall and the computer doesn't recognize it.

So can anyone tell me wat to do and how can i fix the problem? PLZ

THANK YOU

Don't worry about the CEL. Read a few posts and youll see its common on our cars. Its P0171 code, which is a lean code. It happens because of our computer. Just get the code checked out and if its that code don't worry about it. It will cycle on and off. Do a search there is a lot of posts about this. But don't unplug your battery cable, that doesn't do anything. Just a waste of time imo.
