Question: HID Install

What's the best way to power a HID kit when your battery is in the trunk?

You moved your battery to the trunk?! How-to NOW!

I kid. Hook up an inline fuse to that post with the red cap over it in your fusebox if you wanna run your own wires. Try not to blow your up.

The easy way is to hook it up to your factory harness, but there are times when your HID's may not come on and you have to shut off the lights and try again. If you have any major drain on your car like a stereo system you may see the headlights dimming. It is always better to power the HID's from the battery for constant power. Even though the battery is in the trunk, there is the post under the hood for boosting the car that you can tap into for the power supply.
