step 1 - choose desired gas pedal position
step 2 - place brick on gas pedal
step 3 - slowly let go of brick to make sure it stays put
step 4 - crank some tunes, sit back, and cruise

I used to do that in my old '79 Chevy Van 2500, instead of a brick it was a metal pipe that I wedged between the seat base and pedal!! Safety at its finest moment! Ah to be young and stupid again!! LOL
