How much power do you want to make / how fast do you wanna go? You can make a base model fast but the question is, should you?

Getting to 350 will be a lot more than getting to 250. Not sure 350 on your motor is "healthy"...i may be wrong here but youd prob need some internals if you're going that high on a base model.

Since it is a base model I would start with appearance mods overall they will be cheaper. It is going to take a pretty good amount of money to get it to that power level. Get some SS bumpers (please no badges though lol) and maybe some retro headlights, tint, debadge, rims and lower. It will look pretty sweet then. I have a similar discussion with my fiancee who has a v6 05 mustang. She keeps wanting to do power mods but like I tell her she wont see a big enough benefit with just 2-300 every now and then but she could see a huge benefit out of that money in appearance.

Well if your goal is 300+ hp the only real way to go if a full internal build + turbo. It's very difficult to pull 300 hp on a m62 2.2. Turbo would probably be a safer build plus you could always turn up the boost to make even more power in the future
