can anyone confirm for me that the 2.4 exhaust manifold gasket is the same as the 2.0?
or different?
dealership is tellin me its a different part number, but that doesnt make alot of sense as headers bolt right on to both....

doesn't the 2.4 have an EGR? or SAI? something like that? i dunno.

or is that just the 2.2?

just seemed strange when he said "if you had the 2.4 i could help you right out, but were out of the 2.0"

headers swap right over, so i would have thought the gasket would be the same.
but he said the part # is different

have him pull the 2.4 one out and look at it? anom, you've had the exhaust off, would you be able to tell if it were diff?

 

not all of them have it.

good point. i guess i can just take my stock header up there and see if it mates up.

 

just as an update for anyone in this situation in the future,
they are a TINY bit different, but match up just fine

so yes. 2.4 and 2.0 exh man gaskets are interchangable.
